Door handles are often drop forged from hot stamping rods. The advantages of the Wieland-Z48 hot stamping rod are consistent processing properties and good surface machinability.

Hinges and door mountings
Brass sections and rods are often used for decorative applications including hinges and door handles/mountings. The Wieland-Z33 or Wieland-Z40 alloys have been used successfully for the production of extruded/drawn sections for furniture or door mountings. We aim to produce sections with an optimal surface quality in order to minimize the cost for further surface treatment.
