Cables

In everyday electrical appliances, current is not only "processed" but also conducted. If several conductors are combined, flexible flat cables (FFC) are an interesting alternative to traditional wire.

FFC

FFC consist of a number of parallel strips which are laminated in plastic. The most important properties are high electrical conductivity and ductility. The alloy K14 (SE-Cu58) is usually used for this application in sizes ranging between 0.076 and 0.200 mm. The strip is supplied fatfree (dry) and with minimal twist, coil set and camber.
