Coaxial cables

Copper strip is an important pre-material for the production of coaxial cables. To ensure optimum signal transfer the strip must be free of periodic thickness variations. To this end, production is monitored by Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT).

After forming into a tube, longitudinal seam welding of the tube results in a completely grease and oxide free surface and precise edges.

Alloys with excellent electrical conductivity, such as
K09 (PDF, 50 KB)
K14 (PDF, 55 KB)
K32 (PDF, 51 KB)
are used.
