Villingen-Schwenningen is the upper centre of the region Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg and it is an economic and cultural centre of the Black Forest with a high recreational value.
The town is surrounded by the most beautiful regions of the Black Forest and the Swabian Alp and it does not take you long to get from Villingen-Schwenningen to France or Switzerland.
