Profile
Wieland offers a wide selection of materials which can be delivered as extruded or drawn products (e.g. sectional rods or round wires) or rolled products. Therefore our customers have the option of buying all common semi-finished products from a single source. Using up-to-date milling machines, sheets form the front side of the spectacle, sections are machined to become hinges and round wires are transformed to form the frames of the spectacles.

Application field
Our nickel-free materials have been awarded the "Öko-Tex-Signet" by the German certification body Öko-Tex. They comply with the highest technical requirements, not only for processing but also for the daily use of spectacles.
Our special brochure for optical applications provides an overview of Wieland alloys, which are specially used for optical applications and gives information about their special characteristics.
