cuprofin®

Wieland manufactures cuprofin® tubes with all common external diameters and wall thicknesses.

The seamless tubes are manufactured by using a cold forming process in which the fins are formed from the wall of a plain tube. This method requires state-of-the-art machinery, tools and testing equipment.

The dimensions are checked during production by using special measuring methods and IT-supported data acquisition.

Due to constant development and complex testing in our own laboratory for inner-grooved tubes internal structures can be demonstrated. This reduces drastically the volume of tubing that is used in the particular application.

The Wieland quality assurance system ensures that only high-quality, tested products leave Wieland-Werke.
