The installation of refrigeration or air conditioning equipment requires tubes which can be easily processed on site and conform to high quality standards. A clean and dry inner surface as well as durable insulation preventing the formation of condensation water on the outer surface of the tube, are necessary for a smooth operation of the equipment. Wieland cuprofrio.plus meets these requirements.

Wieland has concluded a separate warranty agreement with VDKF (Verband Deutscher Kälte-Klima-Fachleute e.V. – German Association of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors) covering material damage and personal injury.

Product properties

  • material: Cu-DHP
  • meets the requirements of EN 12735-1 (standard for copper tubes used in air conditioning refrigeration systems)
  • conforms to Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC
  • highly tear-resistant sheathing made from thermoplastic elastomer – HFC- and CFC-free
  • extremely low thermal conductivity of the insulation (0.034 W/mK at 0 °C)
  • extremely high water vapour diffusion resistance
  • can be used from -80 °C to +95 °C
  • wide range of standard dimensions (6 - 22 mm outside diameter)
