For more than 40 years low-finned tubes have been successfully used for controlling the temperature of gases and liquids or for evaporating and condensing refrigerants . Due to their enlarged heat transfer surfaces, they provide considerable potential savings by reducing the tube length that is needed to achieve the required performance of the unit.

- materials: copper, copper alloys, special brass, titanium, stainless steel
- external diameter: 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1”
- number of fins: 19 - 40 fpi
- external fin height: 0.9 – 1.5 mm
- also available as KS tube with internal structures optimised for dry-injection evaporation
