A strip which is resting on a planar support also exhibits an upwardly directed bow which is transverse to the direction of the strip. This bow is formed when the strip is cut to its final width, together with a slitting burr. The magnitude of the transverse bow and slitting burr increases as the material becomes thicker and softer. The above statement relating to the coil set also applies to the corresponding values: even without special stipulations, we supply a quality which will satisfy the requirements of our customers. In individual situations, we will agree with you a specification which includes accurate testing conditions and values which are to be adhered to.
